Attendance

The Anchorage School District considers attendance extremely important. It is essential that parents/guardians notify the school of their student's absence by 9:30 a.m. Parents/Guardians who do not report their absent student will receive a call, an email, and/or a text message from ASD's automated absence system. 

To notify the Front Office of an absence or a tardy:

• Log into your Q ParentConnection
• Choose the student you would like to excuse
• In the upper right hand corner, click "report absence"
• Fill out form
• Submit
